Daniel Henderson, lifetime Junction native and former Real Estate Professional, was called into ministerial service early in life and later ordained on June 10th 2013 at the age of 33. Husband to Summer Henderson and father to two beautiful daughters Abbey and Riley, Pastor Daniel has embedded his family into the heart and fabric of the Junction Texas community.
Having grown up in in the shadows of his father and mother’s ministry “Jesus Hall of Fame Inc.” Daniel was active at a very young age learning and participating in sharing God’s Word to those who needed to know Jesus. He traveled with the ministry as they did outreach services across the country and served locally offering Christ’s salvation and baptizing the redeemed.
As a young adult, Daniel did not want to rely on other’s interpretation of the scriptures so he began to study God’s Word in depth to gain an intricate knowledge of its text, challenging both traditional and conventional present day teachings. Daniel sought to understand and define what he believes God has shown him to be the most accurate precepts of God’s Word and its direct application to our lives.
Combining his increased knowledge with consistent submission to the leading of the Holy Spirit, Daniel began to sharpen his skills in conveying God’s Word in a bold yet humble and transparent style. His love for God is refreshingly genuine and authentic. His desire to share Gods word accurately and in theological context is paramount to him.
Pastor Daniel’s ministerial emphasis is not solely about saving the lost, but on equipping and empowering believers into an active relationship with Christ. Daniel believes all of us are called to a consistent Spirit led life where we are all undeniably accountable to Gods’ Word.
Situated alongside the South Llano River, nestled in the foothills of Texas Hill Country, 1 Faith Community Church is located at 3759 S. Rte. 377 Junction Texas. (Our church sits approximately a half mile south of the S Llano State Wildlife Park about 5.5 miles outside Junction City Limits)
1 Faith Community Church is a Fundamental, Non-Denominational, Bible Believing and Holy Spirit Led Church. All are welcomed who would like to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and hear practical and relevant teaching of God’s Word. Fellowship time begins at 10:30 am and our Service runs approximately from 11am to 12 Noon.
1 Faith Community Church is a relaxed and welcoming environment dedicated to learning, growing, aspiring and supporting each other as one body in Christ Jesus.
Our worship is contemporary in style and our atmosphere casual in attire. We believe that Jesus calls us to come as we are as he is more concerned with our hearts than our outward appearance.
Children, newborns to 12 years old, are invited to experience Jesus in a safe, fun and engaging environment in both the Nursery and Children’s Sunday school. Teachers will communicate and apply biblical truths from age appropriate perspectives each week.
Youth Ministry meets mid-week to encourage and equip young people ages 10-18 years old with a clear purpose for growing in faith and in relationship with Jesus.
Communion is made available every Sunday for all who have received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and wish to remember his sacrifice on the cross which brought us into intimate relationship with Him.
Baptism is believed to be a critical aspect of one’s life in Christ as it represents the public death of self in sin and the rebirth of life in Christ Jesus. If you wish to be Baptized, we would love to assist your decision to honor God’s word through action. Baptism services are scheduled intermittently as members communicate their decision or desire to be baptized.
